Refund & Cancellation

At Abhiyank (freelance web development and digital growth consultancy), we strive to deliver high-quality custom websites, web applications, and marketing solutions. Because our services are customized, creative, and service-based, we outline our cancellation and refund terms clearly below.
1. Cancellation Before Project Start
If you decide to cancel a project before any planning, design, or development work has commenced, you are eligible for a 100% refund of your initial payment. Please note that this is subject to the deduction of any third-party payment gateway processing fees incurred during the transaction.
2. Work In Progress (Advance Payments)
Once work on the project has officially started (such as wireframing, initial design concepts, or development setup), the initial advance payment (typically 30% to 50% depending on our service agreement) becomes non-refundable. This covers the labor hours and digital assets allocated to your project.
3. Milestone-Based Refunds
For projects divided into custom phases or milestones, payments are collected upon the completion and approval of each phase. Payments made for completed and approved milestones are non-refundable. If a project is cancelled mid-milestone, refund eligibility will be assessed proportionally based on the volume of work finished during that milestone.
4. Post-Delivery & Handover
No refunds will be issued once the final deliverables (source code, files, credentials, or deployed website/application) have been delivered or handed over to the client. Completion of final handover signifies client satisfaction and acceptance of the project.
5. Refund Processing Time
In instances where a refund is approved by mutual agreement, the refund amount will be processed and credited back to the client's original payment source (bank account/card/UPI) within 7 to 10 business days.
